VDC Management
AI Operating System · Foundational Context
For Bill and Peter

VDC Management. Foundational Context.

Four files that name who VDC is, how the businesses operate, the tools the team uses, and the voice the businesses speak in. Loaded into every Claude conversation through the AIOS GitHub repo.

How the install works

One repo. Two readers. Same brain.

The four context files below live inside a private GitHub repo that holds the AIOS. Bill and Peter each set up the Anthropic GitHub connector inside their own claude.ai account, point it at the private repo, and from then on every Claude conversation each of them has loads VDC's foundational context automatically.

  1. Sign into claude.ai. Browser or desktop. Both work.
  2. Accept the GitHub collaborator invite to the AIOS repo. (Sent by Natalee before the install session.)
  3. Settings → Connectors → GitHub → Authorize. Then attach the AIOS repo to a new chat.
  4. Ask Claude one real question about VDC. If it answers without you having to re-explain anything, the install is live.

When Natalee pushes an update to the repo, both Bill's and Peter's next Claude conversations see it automatically. No re-uploading. No re-syncing. One source of truth, two readers.

Section 01 · Foundational Context

Four files. Loaded by every conversation.

Each file holds a different layer of context. Together, they let any Claude conversation start already knowing VDC instead of starting from zero.

Worth knowing

These files are foundational — they describe who VDC is at a stable, durable level. Engagement-specific work, project trackers, and operational state live in their own files. Build the foundation once, reuse it across every Claude conversation forever.
